Programming our Future

Initiative to teach programming skills to deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

The project organised by the NGO Tecnología con nombre de mujer and financed by Entel  consisted in a series of workshops for deaf and hard-of hearing students and teachers who work in schools focused on the deaf community.

For the duration of the workshop, all participants learned programming through different platforms and exercises, where they used interactive and didactic devices such as Makey-Makey and Arduino plates, and softwares like Scratch and Open Roberta Lab.
